Education packs

Two education packs, available free to teachers, which support teaching of Citizenship, Literacy and Remembrance at Primary and Secondary level.

The Primary pack focuses on Literacy and Remembrance and is aimed at key stages 1 and 2. You can order a hard copy or download a PDF of the pack.

The Secondary pack covers Literacy through History and Citizenship and is aimed at key stages 3 and 4. Again you can order a hard copy or download a PDF of the pack.

Both packs can be considered to be cross-curricular and support a rich scheme of work. Teachers can also simply select relevant individual activities for their class to complete.

Web resources

The education packs are supported by a series of web resources. These can either be browsed at leisure. Alternatively teachers can be guided through the sections relevant to the particular pack they are using by consulting either Primary resources or Secondary resources.

The web resources provide a series of images, soldiers' stories, worksheets and information that can support the use of the packs. The galleries and the History section can also be used in ICT lessons since they do not link to anything outside the BPMA website and are therefore secure for children to browse through.
