Opening Times

The Royal Mail Archive is open Tuesday to Friday, and on selected Saturdays.
We are closed on all public holidays.

Regular Opening Times

Tuesday to Wednesday: 10.00am - 5.00pm
Thursday: 10.00am - 7.00pm
Friday: 10.00am - 5.00pm

Monday closures from 12 October 2015

From 12 October 2015 we will be closing the archive every Monday to prepare our collections for the move to The Postal Museum.

The Archive is open on the second Saturday of every month.

Saturday Openings 2016

9 April 2016: 10.00am - 5.00pm
14 May 2016: 10.00am - 5.00pm
11 June 2016: 10.00am - 5.00pm

Closing early on 24 March 2016

On Maundy Thursday (24 March 2016) the Search Room will be closing at 5pm rather than the usual Thursday time of 7pm.

Opening later on 14 April 2016

On Thursday 14 April 2016, the Search Room will be opening at 11am rather than the usual 10am.
