#MuseumWeek UK

Next week the BPMA will be taking part in this year’s #MuseumWeek, which aims to turn Twitter users into virtual visitors by opening up access to the collections and experts at hundreds of museums and galleries across Europe.

Events the BPMA will take part in include:

Tuesday 25 March

#MuseumMastermind

Test your knowledge with fun facts and trivia questions about our collections.

Thursday 27 March 

#BehindTheArt


Showcasing hidden gems from the collection along with pictures and images from The Postal Museum, due to open in 2016 and Mail Rail, the old Post Office Underground Railway.


Saturday 29 March

#MuseumSelfies / #ArchiveShelfie


BPMA staff will be showing off our Museum Store, Archive, Search Room, Museum of the Post Office in the Community at Ironbridge, and the sites of our proposed new museum through a series of selfie photographs.
