The Queen through the decades: Golden Jubilee stamps

A rather different set of stamps were issued for Her Majesty's Golden Jubilee in 2002. Taking the same idea as the 60th birthday issue - photographic portraits from throughout her life - the Golden Jubilee issue used an image from each of the five decades of her reign, one per stamp.

The stamps were close-up portraits by renowned photographers; including Dorothy Wilding, Cecil Beaton, Lord Snowdon, Yousuf Karsh, and Tim Graham.
